今年も当画廊は東京プリンスホテルで開催される美術骨董ショーに出展いたします。
こちらのイベントも今年で40周年！
東洋、西洋、様々なジャンルの全国の骨董店が集う見応えのあるショーです。普段ちょっと入りにくい骨董のお店を身近に感じられるまたとない機会。

Our gallery will be exhibiting at the Art & Antiques Show to be held at the Tokyo Prince Hotel as in past years. This year marks the 40th anniversary of this spectacular show, which brings together antique stores from all over Japan in various genres, both Eastern and Western. This is a rare opportunity to get a closer look at antique stores, which ordinarily are a bit difficult to enter. Please refer to the image for the schedule.

4/25（金）臨時休業 他通常営業予定です。
～5/11（日）鎌倉国宝館にて特別展 集結！北斎のエナジー -肉筆浮世絵の殿堂- 開催中。北斎の名品多数展示。4/26（土）には関連イベントも。会場隣のスペースの国宝館の貴重な仏像も見応えあり!当画廊も微力ながらご協力させていただいております。

～May 11 (Sun.) “Hokusai’s Energy” – is being held at the Kamakura National Treasure Museum.
Rare and unique works by Hokusai will be exhibited, and a related event will be held on Saturday, April 26. Also worth seeing are the precious Buddhist statues in the National Treasure Museum, next to the exhibition hall!
Our gallery is cooperating in a small way.

Kuniteru II, “Tokyo Tsukiji Teppozukei”, 1869 (Meiji 2)
Maps and bird’s-eye views are one genre of Ukiyo-e that are fun to see in detail. Definitely worth viewing.

Yoshitoshi, famous for his “Bloody Prints” series, covered the remains of the dead of the Shogitai (the Imperial Japanese Army) and vividly depicted them in this series during the Boshin War (1868-1945). The works are also riddles to be solved at a time when it was forbidden to depict current matters.
