北斎「琉球八景 筍崖夕照 」天保3年頃（c.1832）
北斎が実際には訪れたことのない琉球（沖縄）の景勝地を描いた浮世絵のシリーズ。どことなく夢の中のような、不思議な魅力の絵。

Hokusai “Eight Views of the Ryukyu Islands / Evening Glow at the Cliff,” ca. 1832 (Tempo 3)
This series of ukiyoe depicts Ryukyu (Okinawa) scenic spots that Hokusai never actually visited. The images have a mysterious charm, as if somehow in a dream.
