現在東京国立博物館で開かれているやまと絵の展覧会が人気だそう。当店にも一点珍しいやまと絵がありますよ。泥酔した鬼たちに酔い覚ましの柿が薦められています。ということは、季節は秋？

来週末、10/27から、神保町では神田古本まつりも始まります。

The current exhibition of Yamato-e at the Tokyo National Museum is said to be very popular. We have a rare Yamato-e at our gallery.

The drunken demons are recommended to eat persimmons, which are said to be good for sobering up. So the season is autumn?

あまりにきれいなので時々ご質問をいただくのですが、店頭隅の再販画コーナー以外、当店の浮世絵は当時摺られた本物です。是非ご堪能ください。

Because it is in such beautiful condition, customers sometimes ask, “Is it a printed reproduction?” “Was it made recently?” However, except for the works in the reproductions section in the corner of the gallery storefront, all of our Ukiyo-e prints are genuine prints printed at that time. Please enjoy them.

こちらはちょっと珍しい明治期の貴族大集合の浮世絵。
洋装が多いのも、興味深いところ。

Here is a rather unusual ukiyoe of a large group of aristocrats from the Meiji period. It is interesting to note that many of them are dressed in Western clothes.

On the 1st of next month, we will introduce 8 recommended works on our homepage. Here is one of them. Sounds of thunder can be heard, can’t it?
