今年も東京プリンスホテルで開催される「ザ　美術骨董ショー」に出展いたします。30年以上の歴史を誇る、全国の東洋、西洋、様々なジャンルの骨董のお店が集う、見応えのあるショーです。ぜひお出かけください。

日程は画像をご参照ください。なお、4/30~5/5、神保町の画廊はお休みをいただきます。

Again this year, we will exhibit at “The Art & Antiques Show” to be held at the Tokyo Prince Hotel, which boasts a history of more than 30 years and is a spectacular show featuring antique dealers of various genres, both Eastern and Western, from all over the country.We look forward to seeing you there.

「芳年武者無類 弾正忠松永久秀」明治16 年(1883)

武人でもあり茶人でもある松永弾正久秀、兼ねてから所望していた信長より名品の「古天明平蜘蛛」という茶釜を渡せば自害は免れると言われたが切腹の前に自ら破壊したという逸話。男前。

”Yoshitoshi’s Courageous Warriors / Matsunaga Hisahide
” (1883)

Hisahide Matsunaga Danjo was both a warrior and a tea master. He was told by Nobunaga, who had long desired a tea kettle called “Ko-Tenmei Hiragumo,” a masterpiece, that he would be spared from committing suicide if he gave it to him, but he destroyed it himself before committing hara-kiri.

I can’t believe that such a cool ukiyoe existed 141 years ago, in 1883…! This is one of the coolest drawings by Yoshitoshi, who still continues to have a great influence on artists of today.
